I will say I never understood the grumbling about August until I moved to Dallas… and I then realized how horrible it was. Growing up on the Jersey shore and then moving to the Southern California coast as a child… how could I? Summer was my favorite season…Dallas undid that quickly. I refer to our four years there as a bit of “exile “. I loathed August.
Hope the school year goes well. The saying is true, “the days are long and the years are fast”.
Celebrate the fiery personality of your youngest… ours will be 30 in March and she’s still feisty …now slaying it as a corporate attorney 🔥. 💪👏
