So true. I think some might see this kind of shift as what was intended for democracy- leaders who aren't career-politicians, but "regular citizens"(and I think it was said as much for Trump). But as you've pointed out, social media culture has created such a stark difference from "regular citizens" and internet influencers. There's just a whole different dynamic with a host of unsettling realities that come along with it in terms of knowledge, mindset, tactics, etc..

This makes me even more glad I have zero social media, and a peaceful life because of it!
