So much to know
So, given that my indefinite newsletter vacation is coming up in September, I’m going to maybe be sending more than my usual emails just as things come to mind that I may not have space for between now and then. This is one of those things. A poem.

No Place to Think
Social media is no place to think.
On social media, you’re only allowed to know.
Scroll, watch, react, respond.
But don’t stop to think.
In fact, don’t stop at all—keep going.
Why would you bother
Thinking for yourself
When someone else
Could just do it for you?
The internet is a place to share wisdom
We’ve never had
And have experiences
We’ll never share.
Log your self on.
Turn your self off.
There is no time to think
When there is so much to know.
We have as a people lost our ability to question the narrative that is being pushed upon us. Our journalists aren't asking follow up questions. Where is the curiosity ?
