Chris, ran into a quotation I thought you might like, "It is right that so pure a God discloses Himself only to those whose hearts are purified" (Pascal). My greatest need is not productivity but purity of heart and AI can't help me with that. Blessings

Chris, continueing to think about this and I think it goes back to the beginning of time. God could have been more 'productive', i.e., He could have done all of creation in a day or even a moment. AND, it wasn't a struggle in the creative act. It was, it seems to me, about the joy, delight, satisfaction that can only be experienced as you take time to enjoy, examine both the process and the product. There is no reason to rush a process that is meant to be enjoyed, which is meant to help us understand things slowly. There is every reason to take time and delight in the product (God said, It is good!). Work, that has been stripped of both the enjoyment of the process and enjoyment to look slowly at the product inevitably strips man of the joy and significance work was to produce in man.
