For those of us who grew up in 90s evangelicalism, we got so many messages about how we would/should “change the world” as adults. This contributed to so much of my own restlessness and I think I’m not the only one.
Such a good reminder. Thanks for writing. "It is good just to show up" is so important – not only to ministry, but to our communion with God as well. It's tempting to want to wait until we have something that feels worthy to bring, but all we ever have is ourselves.
