Thank you Chris for this newsletter! I've had a harder time with people who call themselves Christian and have little to no self-criticality yet are very quick to point out others faults! You don't know how I long to find a Christian that is able to see themselves in contrast to the Word of God! It may not the number one problem in the church but it's awful close!
I gave a word on Isaiah 66:2 on who the person is that God looks at - humble, contrite and trembles at God's word. All three point to the work of the Holy Spirit to keep us humble and having an accurate view of our own shortcomings - all in the love of Christ!
