Please excuse me for not reading through every single newsletter you've done, but have you engaged with Jay Kim's Analog Church? So much of what you're saying here reminds me of his concerns about social media. Also, I have McLuhan's Understanding Media and Postman's Technopoly coming in today. Wish more people were reading your stuff! (Without knowing what your metrics look like, that is.)

Anyway, Jay's book hits on how these digital tools shouldn't replace the actual intimacy and embodiment of relationships. Thought it was a timely book, especially being released in March of last year.
On another note, just posted a newsletter. Would be curious to hear your thoughts on the matter whenever/if you get a free moment.

ha. no i havent engaged with Jay Kim's stuff. regarding readership, all is well. i'm not very concerned about readership numbers.
